Latest Cambridge section now OPEN!

The latest section of Te Awa, between Cambridge towards Hamilton is now open! This section starts at either the Grassroots Trust Velodrome or Gaslight Theatre in Cambridge and takes you through to the southern end of Hooker Rd!

Featuring kilometres of boardwalks, bridges, picnic areas and some stunning river views, this 7km stretch is an experience in itself.

Expect more hills than you’ve seen on other parts of the Te Awa River Ride – it’s a challenging roll or stroll for most. But the rewards are in the views and parts of the river and riverbank you’ve never seen before!
