Mark Ingle is General Manager of U Leisure Ltd, a medium sized local business, employing 85 staff, situated at the University of Waikato. He is also Chairman of the WEL Energy Trust and Boathouse Events Limited.
Simon Perry is Chairman of the Brian Perry Charitable Trust. In late 2007, Simon took over the role as Chairman of the Perry Group, overseeing the vast and varied Group operations.
Neil Richardson is currently Chairman/Shareholder of New Zealand Home Loans and SmartTrade and is on the Board of Opportunity Hamilton, Child Matters and Quantec.
Sarah Ulmer was the first New Zealander to win an Olympic cycling gold. She won a gold medal and set world records at the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens. Sarah won the Halberg Award after Athens and was twice awarded the Lonsdale Cup.
Barry Harris is a company director with extensive governance and executive experience. Barry has held a number of Chief Executive roles including Environmental Waikato, Greater Wellington Regional Council and Hamilton City.
After two years working closely with the Trust at an operational level, Julian Williams joined the Board in July 2012. Julian is Manager of Strategy for Waikato-Tainui.
Led by its General Manager Jennifer Palmer, The Brian Perry Charitable Trust continues to provide the operational and management support to the project.
